River wade in the cool water. it was a hot day and river felt good against his fur. he swiveled his ears behind and around him. he did not want a bear coming up from behind. he heard something in the ferns and turned. two pairs of eyes stared at him. one pair blinked and disapeared. the other turned and left. River bounded after them over the ferns.
salmon and trout are caught here but watch out for bears and pirhanas.
